Friday was a work day, where each group had some time to prepare for the first assignment.
In our group, we continued planning our lesson, and started making our SMART Board activity.
We decided that the learning outcome of our lesson would be that students would be able to describe the location of the planets in the solar system in relation to the sun. We plan to create an interactive activity on the SMART Board so that students will be able to move around the clipart of the planets, and move them around to find the correct order. We are also thinking of using a Youtube clip with a song about the planets in our solar system.
Learning how to create interactive SMART Board activities from scratch has been a goal for me to use in this course, so I'm excited that I'm getting a chance to learn about the program.
